Class 0, Class ! and BS EN Class B coating systems are used in areas where limited combustibility is required in high risk areas such as an escape route. SSL have the knowledge and expertise to identify whether existing coatings are suitable for class 0 upgrading or whether they need to be completely stripped and a new fire retardant coating system applied.
We are able to apply fire retardant coatings that achieve of Class 1 Fire Protection and Class 0 Fire Protection standards also BS EN Class B European standard. The decision whether to meet Class 1, Class 0 or BS EN Class B classification will be determined by your Building Regulations Officer or Architect.
